HSFM Proudly Salutes the Bears of Bluebonnet Elementary School here in Flower Mound!

10/16/2011 12:00:00 AM

Bluebonnet Elementary presenting donationOn Saturday, October 8, members of the Student Council at Bluebonnet Elementary came to PetsMart and donated over $460 to HSFM.

This money was raised through one of Bluebonnet’s “Pay It Forward” Events in which the focus is on a charity or a need in the community or the world. The Student Council decides on something that they believe Bluebonnet Bears would love to support and help, and then matches it with something “fun” in the fundraising. Most recently, they held the “PJ’s for Pets” day where all money went to the HSFM. In addition to the one day donation event, nine students held a Lemonade/Snack stand in their neighborhood and those proceeds were include in the donation. Talk about a bunch of GREAT Kids with Character! Definitely TWO PAWS UP for Bluebonnet Elementary School!
